Grand West Skips Town! or, Kevin Marks is Gone With The Wind!
We were notified the morning of December 7th that even though it's wintertime in Colorado, it's gotten too hot for Kevin Marks and Grand West Financial. He's packed it in and headed to Las Vegas where it's cooler.
Kevin-poo cleaned out the offices of Grand West over night and has fled Colorado Springs. What's the matter, Kevin? Can't you cope with the fact your buddy NorthStar lost it's license? Do you think running relieves you of the legal consequences of your actions? Did you take your wife and boy with you? What a fine example you are for Kevin Marks, Jr! We bet he wants to grow up and be just like you! What about your other son? Are you and Kim telling him the REAL truth as to why you folded your tent and slipped off into the night?
We went by Kevin's house at 3320 Ashwood in Colorado Springs to see for ourselves what was happening. We discovered the house was vacant! It seems Kevin and Kim rented a truck the previous week, packed up all their goodies, and left! Before closing out his offices downtown! Perhaps Kevin thought that no one would notice the house if he removed the house numbers and left them on the porch. We still managed to find it. There's a for sale sign in the window! Gasp. Shock. Does this mean the lad's done something rash and possibly left town for good?
We had some rather nice chats with some of Kevin's neighbors. Hey, Kevin. Seems your neighbors didn't think much of you either. With you gone, seems property values might go up. And, there's talk of a block party to celebrate your departure. You had some nice neighbors. Too bad you didn't get to know them.
We also left some flyers at the homes where no one was home. You can guess what was in the flyers. A brief description of why we think Kevin ran and contact information should anyone have any information about Kevin and Kim and their whereabouts.
