These people are crooks! My 86 year old mother contracted with this company on 10/20/09(they cashed her check 2 days later) for a new accessible bath and made a 50% deposit (over 5,000 which was most of her savings) in order to get a 1,000 discount on the total job. She heard nothing from them about a specific start date although she was verbally promised to have it in by Christmas, 2009.

When she talked to the sales rep. she was told that the items that she had chosen were not available in the correct configuration to fit into the space, nor in the ordered color; although he had made numerous phone calls to verify what was ordered at the time of contract and taken all the measurements. She advised him to cancel the order and return her money 11/5/09.

The former owner, David L., contacted her daughter (me) on 12/4/09 after no response to numerous phone calls/ messages and specifically a threat to report them. After hearing the problem, he agreed that the current owner, Mr. Terry G., needed to 'make things right'.

In January, after hearing nothing from Mr.G., a complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau, although WV Re-Bath never responded to 2 requests from the BBB, a new representative set up an appointment for January 18, 2010 for he and Mr. G. to resolve the problem. At 3p.m. on the 18th they called and canceled the appointment.

At that point, a full refund check was demanded within 7 working days to be sent by registered mail. Nothing has been received and no response from 3 calls/ messages to the main office in Arizona. Further action is being taken and my mother has had to live with an unsafe bathroom because she can't afford to get someone else to do it. She has had her savings wiped out.
