Not supposed to talk out of school, you know? No. The attorney I spoke to - Steven Hoffberg - is not saying it's invalid. He is saying that it could be...well. He said Timgirls logo may resemble Timberlands - and it's true enough that Timgirl is doing away w/the logo. I still have the boxes with the logo. No one will answer my question regarding why Timberland does not take Timgirl to court if they have such a good argument on the name issue. All sources indicate there is NO actual pending lawsuits. They are just going to VERO us to death because it's simple and fun. Fross Zelnick's position is that these boots are totally unsalable. The only concession I got from that was from Timberland itself. Hoffberg's position is that if I did haul them into court, I'd likely win after the judge quit laughing to death. But that they would ruin my life, my business, in the process. But I guess you know all about that Karen. I hope you don't think less of me that I am not wanting to go through all this. Ebay's VERO dept. confirms that they can't help me. That it is not fair. That yes, the system leaves a lot of room for abuse. But that if I keep putting them up, and FZ keeps VEROing me off...they will suspend me. Those are the rules. There are no boot boxes to be found. I am so screwed. Who the hell wants to buy a boot without a box? I'm burnt right now. Sick. I have to get away from this for awhile...I'm thinking about what to do...I'm so torn. I know this is not right. But if fighting will kill me...? I don't know.
