We ate at the Golden Mardi Gras' new buffet Wednesday, August 21, 2013. In the August 16 - September 5, 2013 issue of The Deal,
their food critic, under the column titled "morsels", talked about the new Bourbon Street Cafe & Buffet. Talked about. Not one
mention of actually having eaten there. The piece reads like it was written by the manager at the Golden Mardi Gras instead of someone
who has actually eaten there.
The same could be said of the piece on the Garden Buffet at Saratoga Casino Black Hawk. A puff piece that sounded like it was written by management. The Garden Buffet at Saratoga Casino Black Hawk was as horrible as the Bourbon Street Cafe & Buffet at the Golden Mardi Gras. A tie for the worst.
