Item pulled by VeRO member - but not their product

I had one of my items pulled by a VeRo member yesterday, but the item had nothing to do with them. I had listed a cross stitch kit and it was a scrapbooking company that had it pulled.

My item title was listed as 'Creative Circle Cross Stitch Magical Memories'

It was a cross stitch kit for a photo mat. It was made by the Creative Circle company and the item was called Magical Memories Photo Mat. I even had a picture of the kit in my auction.

I don't want to state the VeRo member's name in this thread incase that infringes too, But any one who knows this, they produce scrapbooking materials, not needlepoint items. They claimed that I was selling one of their items and they don't allow that.

Apparently, they did not even read and investigate what I was selling - they must have just done a search for 'creative memories' and my listing popped up so they jumped on it and canned it without checking it out.

I received the standard email from eBay and it had the member's contact info on it, so I called. They stated that they would have to have their legal department check into it.

They really can't pull my auction can they? I was not selling any of their product. What recourse do I have? This seems really stupid for an item that was only worth a few bucks, but what else can be pulled if they can do this?
