Once Autodesk has sold the particular copy of the software, the First Sale Doctrine trumps any future claims of ownership or control by Autodesk. Autodesk certainly does have residual rights in that copy but only as far as prohibiting unlawful copies to be made and possiibly distriuted. The actual copy of the sotware purchased is out of the control of Autodesk.
