Contribute To The Fight

We DO NOT ACCEPT contributions of any type for information or suggestions posted on this web site. However, if you have found these pages to be helpful and/or informative, or if our suggestions have been helpful to you or anyone else, we would encourage you to make a contribution to those who do help. Please do not offer us anything.

We have been approached by people wanted to help. If you want to help, there are organizations doing good work to keep the internet abusers at bay. One such organization is Public Citizens. located at 1600 20th St. NW, Washington, DC. 20009 (202) 588-1000). Their web site is www.citizen.org.

Gregory A. Beck, an attorney with the Public Citizen Litigation Group, has taken a number of referred cases concerning eBay auctions and done a fine job. His group took over our federal appeals case concerning Sevenarts and Chalk & Vermilion (They are both in our Hall Of Shame). A contribution to Public Citizen helps them continue the work. You can contribute on-line at their web site or mail them a check. When you donate, in the comment box or on the check, be sure and please note that the contribution is because of Greg Beck in Litigation Group. Donations are tax-deductible.

To quote from their web site:
"Because Public Citizen does not accept funds from corporations, professional associations or government agencies, we can remain independent and follow the truth wherever it may lead. But that means we depend on the generosity of concerned citizens like you for the resources to fight on behalf of the public interest. If you would like to help us in our fight, click here."

A Cup Of Joe For A Joe
by Green Beans Coffee Company
Karen and Mike, also known to you as Tabberone, have been actively participating in various troop support programs for a number of years. An important one we have discovered and supported is one run by the Green Beans Coffee Company of Larkspur, California. The Green Beans Coffee Company runs coffee houses in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Middle East and at other US military bases around the world. Your donations are converted into email chits that are randomly given to military personal who are based near these coffee houses. You are then sent an email by Green Beans Coffee telling at what location your donation(s) was distributed. The military recipient of your donation is also given the opportunity to email you a thank you with a message, which many of them do.

Modern military deployment has changed very much since WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Back then there was no internet or cell phones. A soldier very rarely could call home or even go home on leave. But modern deployment does not alter the dangers they face. Green Beans Coffee is one of the little pleasures they can enjoy. Any donation makes a service man or service woman smile. We contribute every month.
