Consumer Reviews

Not sure if it works yet....

5 Sep 2008 - Vena of Georgia, United States writes:

Well, I just bought my Ab Rocket today, and I was really eager to try it despite all the negative comments that I heard about the equipment. Unfortunately, I'm having to add to the negativity. The assembly on the device was simple, until I attempted to add the springs. I was able to add one spring, but it proved impossible for me to add the other. Dont get me wrong, I am not weakling!! I wrestled with getting the spring on for more than thirty minutes until I gave up, and decided to return it to [] tommorow to get assistance. So honestly, I cant say yet of whether it works or not, but I can say that the assembly may prove to be a workout in itself! I'll report back and let you all know the outcome once I take it back to the store, and pray that someone has the strengh to assemble the thing! :-(

I'm missing part of my order!!

21 Aug 2008 - Cindy of Texas, USA writes:

I purchaased this product On-Line from their web site. It arrived (UPS) in a broken box with no invoice, no instructions & none of the instructional DVD's or Food Plan. Since there was no invoice there is no # to call to let them know that I did not receive everything that was solicited in their ad. Their web site does not show a way to contact them I guess I will keep watching for their Infomercial on TV and hope that there is a phone # to contact them.

Ab Rocket

11 Aug 2008 - G. Giles of Texas, USA writes:

I did not try this product but after ordering over the telephone based upon the infomercial, I did some online research and found numerous complaints. I called within 3 business days of my order, actually the Monday morning afterwards after finding out that customer service was not available over the weekend. I saw that my order was still in process and my credit card had not been processed at that time. According to what I was told on the telephone at the time of my order, their advertisement online and on the infomercial, the order is risk free. I understood I could return the item without charge. Today I was told upon trying to cancel the order that as it was in stock and already on the truck, that I could not cancel and that I was to be charged the $14.95. Apparently, it is not risk free at all and anyone who orders this item is going to be charged that price plus any return shipping charges. I have already called my credit card company to dispute the charges as I feel that this company is not being truthful to the persons that call to order. Please beware of this company. They tell you it will take about 6 weeks to receive the product but they amazingly have it in stock if you want to cancel. Buyer beware and also read the numberous complaints about the quality of this product. I have made sure that this company cannot add any additional charges to my credit card and I will be notifying others to not trade with this company for fraudulent business practices.

it works ...

22 Jul 2008 - robin of TX, USA writes:

I got the product a month or so ago. I did not order through the site though - I found it elsewhere. I saw other complaints about that process but knew I wanted to test it. I have seen it now in a couple stores, as well other avenues online. It works. Like all of my exercise products though - the only way it's going to work is if I use it. When I do though - it works. I have no visible results yet, but I have not been consistent. Every day after I use it though - I am reminded of it. I put the most resistant springs on it - sometimes I wish there were stronger ones just to get a little more umph. But I am not displeased w ith my purchase at all.

poor quality

LIKE MANY CONVINCING COMMERICALS

29 Aug 2007 - Terrance of Georgia, USA writes:

After I assembled it and tried it out, I found that my lower back was irritated. I seemed to stuggle more on the Ab Rocket trying to keep my balance versus doing traditional crunches with a pad and feet gripper. Attaching the springs are a mini workout in themselves too. I guess for me there is no replacement for old fashioned crunches.

I was surprised.

18 Jul 2007 - Nellie of New Jersey, USA writes:

I ordered this through their website. It took a while for delivery and no communication at all from customer service. I had to put effort to hook up the springs, but once done, I tried it. I did 100 situps at 25 intervals, the next day I felt it. I did find the positioning of my legs and bit uncomfortable, but still plan to use it.
