Husband and wife designers, Jeffrey and Kym Lubell appear to be the owners of what we would describe as over-priced jeans.

In our opinion, True Religion Brand Jeans is not really protecting their trademark but more they are going through the motions making them look good. They seem more concerned with shutting down eBay auctions than going after the inporter and distributor of the fakes.
They have a perfect right to terminate eBay auctions of counterfeit jeans. But it seems more practical to go after the importer and distributor than berate the seller for selling fakes. Prosecuting one distributor makes more impact than shutting down a dozen eBay auctions.
As long as the distributor is in business, these fakes will continue to be sold by street vendors, flea markets, and in other locations because the True Religion enforcers won't get off the dime.
