comments: As I am sure you have assumed from my surname, I am Ray Perman's daughter. I note that you are willing to post rebuttals on your website and I would appreciate it if you would consider this as such.

For a woman of obvious intelligence I am extremely disappointed to find that you use your website as a forum for childish sniping, accusation and contempt. I note that in each case you claim to be the victim of corporate bullies but yet your response is to act in exactly the way you protest to. Your remarks are not only exaggerations but often are highly offensive. In particular I reference your comparison of my father and David Rogath to Nazi's (including a picture) when the latter is a man of Jewish faith. Your remarks were therefore not only thoughtless but incredibly careless.

I believe that you consider yourself to be a woman of principle yet you condone those who act upon their own. The fact is that you were selling a fabric which breached the copyright of an artist my father represents. Although it is undoubted that this was unintentional on your part (as my father stated in his correspondence to you) it was standard procedure to have the item removed from sale on eBay. It is no doubt unfortunate that your eBay account was then marked for this misdemeanor, whether intentional or not. Despite your protestations my father was nothing but courteous and apologetic (which if you happened to reveal the entire transcipts of your correspondance as opposed to edited quotes, your website visitors would be able to see for themselves).

The underlying matter is that you pursued legal action because my father would not contact eBay on your behalf to remove the mark next to your account. His reason for this was that it would be out of line with others who had breached the copyright and in the interest of fairness you had to be treated as those before you. There was therefore in fact no victimisation or bullying but a clear business principle which was being resolutely followed in the best interests of the artist in question and his legacy.

I will not use this rebuttal as an opportinity to protest my father's good character as this is clearly something which is of no consequence to you. I merely wanted to point out my disappointment that in this day in age an adult business woman chooses to act in such a highly offensive and childish manner. I feel that your "Hall of Shame" reflects more shamefully on your own character then on those you seek to discredit.

I trust you will find no offensive material in this email and hence I may expect it to be posted in full as is stated on your site.
