How You Should Respond To A VeRO Takedown
If you have an eBay auction that is terminated, you will receive an email from eBay telling you what has been terminated and why. Your first step is to create a folder on your computer, or on your email provider, and save EVERY email you receive and send concerning the takedown(s).

Respond immediately and build a paper trail. Make copies of everything. You, or someone else, might be able to use it later. Please read carefully: do not confuse eBay with the VeRO member. eBay will terminate your auction upon orders (also called an NOCI) from the VeRO member; if this is the case, the VeRO member, not eBay, terminated your auction.

If you have had eBay auctions terminated, read the eBay termination email carefully. Sometimes eBay will shut down your auction but usually it will be a VeRO member. Immediately try to email the VeRO member, or eBay (depending) to ask why. Keep it simple. Do Not Emote! Keep emailing them, every two or three hours, if necessary. Change subject line in your email for each time to reflect how many times you have emailed them (Example: request #1, etc).

DO NOT threathen them, or eBay, with legal action. You must FIRST find out why your auction was terminated.

Most VeRO mebers will reply will reply. Carefully read their reply. Many times they will attempt a smoke screen instead of answering. If they have not given you a specific answer, demand again they tell you why your auction was terminated.

If they send you a letter, send a written reply immediately. Again, state your position and ask qustions but do not threaten them or emote.

DO NOT admit that you are doing anything wrong and DO NOT supply them with any information they could use against you later. DO NOT sign anything admiting guilt or fault.

If you have a lawyer, contact that lawyer.
