eBay Lies In Federal Court Filing A Tabberone Exclusive! |
January 2008
In Colon v. Innovate! Technology, Inc., No. 07-21349 (S.D. Fla.), eBay has found itself between a rock and a really hard place. In its attempt to minimize its illegal acts, Innovate! Technology attempted to heap the responsibility upon eBay for the illegal auction terminations. We have seen this before. The corporate lawyers weasel-word their defense claiming they did nothing wrong. Made a "Third-Party Defendant" in this case, eBay counter-claimed against Innovate! Technology. In doing so, eBay's lawyers lied about facts concerning eBay. We claim they lied because the facts show their statements are false. So, either the eBay lawyers lied or they were coerced into lying by the managers at eBay who told them lies. Either way, eBay lied to the federal court. Click here to read eBay's entire response to the federal court (pdf format 24 pages). Our allegations of lying starts at page 9 of eBAY'S ANSWER, AFFIRMATIVE DEFENSES, AND COUNTERCLAIMS TO THIRD PARTY CLAIM OF INNOVATE! TECHNOLOGY, INC. where EBAY’S COUNTERCLAIMS AGAINST INNOVATE JURISDICTION & VENUE begin.
